The project entails major alterations to remodel and extend a bungalow house to suit the needs of a growing family.

The extension has a sympathetic language and reuses the existing palette of materials in the rear elevation with a more sober approach. A solid brick base adds a subtle accent to emphasise the change of level and the geometric scheme of the facade.

The attic space has been converted and extended to provide additional 3 bedrooms and a bathroom.

The strategic position of the stairs and the formation of dormers allowed the loft space to be used at its full potential.
